Scrap UK- get a USA Kilts kilt. I have never had anything but good experiences with Amerikilt, as well.

The USA casuals look pretty good. Especially if I can get them with a "jeans waist".. How comfortable are they?

I'd go with Alpha Kilts, or Celtic Warrior Kilts if you like the "modern" or MUG style. I used to love UK, but I'm less impressed as time goes on, and there are lots of great merchants on this board that I'd go with.

I'll second Werewolves on this one: I've got an AlphaKilt for when I don't feel like tartan, and I've been very happy with both it and Daron's customer service.

Casuals? I don't know- I have a semitrad and a 5 yard wool, and both are exceptional. AND the customer service is (as you will find all over this board) second to none. They're well worth the money.
