I hate reading these posts. I just ordered two kilts from Rocky, and now I have to go ask my wife for another $130. ::headdesk::
Seriously, I've both a Stillwater heavyweight hunting MacRae and a heavyweight Black Watch. I'll second what BeeDee said about the selvege on the hunting MacRae, but, for the money, they're both very nice kilts.
Both of mine are customized to the extent that my legs are short, so I was able to get Jerry to make mine to a 22" length instead of his standard 24". Note that when you customize, you don't get his famous "arrived before you ordered it" customer service - it will take 6 weeks or so, but I'd prefer to have the nice kilting selvege on the bottom rather than a hem.
