So today Catherine and I went over to Yorkdale Mall, we got there early to ensure a good parking space. After about an hour or so in the book store we decided to check out the rest of the mall, this is when things start to happen. Firstly we are at a hat place looking at hats me eying the flat caps, and Catherine checking out a tam or two, when a guy comes up behind me and asks "Scotsman on holiday?" in a very thick Scottish accent, I answered "No Canadian in a kilt." to which he says "I'm not sure that's allowed." My response was "It's fine because I say it is." He then answered "Fair enough."

After that I was near the escalator when a gentleman points down at me while talking to his girlfriend "Hey look a guy in a kilt" I pointed right back and said "Hey look a guy in a baseball hat, you must be an athlete." Later I ran into him again and he said his girlfriend had recently got into her Scottish heritage so I made her day.

Then it was off to Kelsey's for lunch, our waitress' name was Scotia and was very excited to see a man in a kilt, she was very attentive and said I was the coolest person she'd ever served. It was a great day to be out and about in a kilt.

Here is Scotia and I
