Those are very useful, Jock. Our huntsman and kennel huntsman wear them when mucking around kennels on wet and sloppy days, and when out exercising hounds. I've worn one with the kilt before...works very well, especially when wet and muddy beagle jump up on you.
Does Bruar still make them? I haven't noticed them in the online catalogue recently.

They don't seem to star in their catalogue these days, but I bought six last autumn when I visited the shop. I use them as a "thank you" when I shoot with friends, particularly down in England where they are still struggling with those awful waterproof trousers.
