re
I didn't know those were for a sporran. I don't even own a sporran yet. Yes my straps and buckles is what I meant they need to be a bit tighter when I wear it now they are cinched down to the last notch already want them to be near the middle notches so I can adjust up and down some. I got my straps and buckles from my dad's tack box. Straps and buckles he used for his horses that he didn't need anymore. I'm a highland games competitor so I'll be pretty rough on this but it didn't cost me much for it anyway and now that I know I can make one I plan to make a few more.

Your Kilt looks great. Especially as you started by copying an Acrylic Kilt.
You mention that you want to make the beltloops tighter. I assume by this you mean the straps & buckles.
Just a note; The loops on the back of the Kilt are not belt loops. They are sporran loops. They are there to keep your sporran strap from falling off your hips. If you try putting your belt through them you will distort the fabric of the Kilt and cause a permanent "W" to form in the back.
The Kilt Belt is only decorative. It does not go through loops and does not help keep the Kilt up. If your Kilt moves up or down on your body it is not fitted properly. The straps of the Kilt should cinch into your natural waist just below the ribs and about over your kidneys. If you Kilt slides down then it may need some adjustment.
But other than that you did a good job. Keep it up.

Well done, indeed! That's a sharp-looking tartan.

On the left side, you can move the strap toward the center of the underapron, assuming you have a traditional arrangement with button-hole. The edge of the underapron can "underlap" the buttonhole. On the right, just move the buckle away from the apron. It's an easy adjustment.

Very nice! Isn't it a great feeling to wear something you made yourself? And you have the usual wonderful attitude of our "clan" here-if it isn't perfect, I can always make it better!
Be well,

Yes now when I see good deals on material I know what to do with it. I can see making at least 1 new kilt a year or so. Just signed up for Portland Highland games today will be the largest one I've ever been to.

Congratulations! You were smart to take your time and get help when you needed it, and it certainly paid off for you.
~Looking forward to seeing the next one ...
