Some folk even occasionally sell kilt on x-marks, so you may be able to aquire a replacement for less than you think

(Unless you are a mutant like me with a 21" drop)

Depending on the damage, I wouldn't have been surprised that someone here would think of attempting to fix the rip. I didn't catch the entire scope of the damage, but if it were an apron, reverse them and make a woman's skirt, or something. (I do seem to remember an Xmarks tartan stocking being shown once..)
