I destroyed a kilt
Yesterday while cleaning up around the house I lost my Sport kilt in an incident with the gas grill. I was cleaning for the beginning of the season and one way or another lost control of the grill. The grill tipped over and with my quick reactions I grabbed for it as it fell one of the grates cough on my kilt ripping it as it went. The move to save the grill ( Ducane) cost me my lounging kilt, the part that would have broke would have cost less then the kilt.
So here I sit after the trash truck just took my ripped kilt away , down to my paintball kilt ( 12+years) and my semi dress BW and nothing to hack around in no more.

Sorry for your loss, but what a great chance for an upgraded lounging kilt!
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Sorry for the loss... toast the old friend next chance you get.
Then cheer up, it's an excellent excuse... sorry, make that reason to get a new kilt!

When I read your post to my wife, she just looked at me and "Don't try it"
I think maybe I better set mine on fire first!
