Jealous.
Be sure and post pics Ghostlight~ I'm seriously tempted by Stillwater, particularly now I've discovered they do a McLaren tartan as standard.

You'll be very happy with your Stillwater.
All but one of the kilts I've owned are from Jerry. A Black Economy (to be shipped this weekend to it's new owner), a Saffron Standard, and my newest a McKenzie Thrifty.
I was a little concerned about the Thrifty not having straps, but I find that I don't miss them.

well that's the thing~ I've recently taken delivery of an 8 yard, McLaren Weathered Strome, handmade one from Stewart Christie in Edinburgh, as well as a made to measure Braemar and waistcoat, and some ghillies. This all took a bit of saving up for, and convincing the other half that buying another kilt at the moment would be a necessary purchase will take some doing. Might have to pace myself a tad.

That story sounds SO familiar...
I've just received an 8 yard Anderson Modern from ChattenCat that I haven't had time to take the basting stitches out yet.
Even at Jerry's prices (and he does have a closeout on a McRae Ancient Hunting that I've got my eye on) it would be a tough sell.

Is it there yet?
How about Now?
Now?
Seriously, I love my SWK's! I am wearing my Saffron now, it's a great lighter weight kind of universal kilt kind of thing, that I often wear with "other" kinds of clothing (Hawaiian Shirts, my multi-colors of crocs, muscle shirts) I get strange looks but, I'm comfortable!
