    the PV is what i was drawn toward mostly, but CC has this "Homespun" material and it says it is 45% wool, also is cheaper.

    The homespun is a nice fabric, a rather loose feeling weave. IMO it makes a pretty nice belted plaid.

    It's not as wide as the PV (maybe 54 inches versus 60). So if you're tall, it may not be as versatile. I'm 5' 11.75" (182 cm) and it's not quite long enough to make a hood with the top portion; but otherwise I can wear it 'most any usual way.

    After looking through the Clearance section i actually found a Phillibeg in Macleod of lewis tartan for $49!!! with the cheater pleats thats only $100...Score!
