    I can't say I've ever seen any documentation that Hudson was a Scot; do you have a source for your claim?

    Hudson is a sept of the MacDonald clan.

    Very little is known about Henry Hudson's childhood or his birth, except that he was born in London. The birthplace of his parents and grandparents is also unknown. All this leads me to believe he was of Scottish descent, so I probably overstated it when I said he was Scottish.
