Well you can't wear your Sunday kilt in the canoe but in your knockin' around kilt it's a ball.

True but it does come back to what Alan H asked regarding where not to wear a kilt. This is especially true in a kayak. In a canoe I've only ever done it seated and never kneeling and see no problems being kilted when seated. That being said I'm planing a 5 day kayak trip down our Grand River that cuts through southern Ontario to Lake Erie and I plan to do it kilted just so I can say I've done it. It sould be a good trip, I've already found a beer store the river bank half way through the trip. Should lighten the load a bit and get lighter as I paddle down river.

I wear the USAK casual in canoes, kayaks, while irrigating, and even swimming.
Wearing it now as I type this. Just got done planting some trees in it.
