I really enjoyed watching the athletes. We had a nice spot in the shade, next to a large tree, with a large bee hive located between the roots. Therefore not a lot of people were willing to sit there. The bees never bothered us!

What Alan neglects to mention is that he spent about 2 minutes wandering around carrying that caber upright before he turned it an almost perfect 12:00! He's hurting today, more so tomorrow. I'm not sure what he was thinking! Trying to impress the ladies, Alan?

Of course, there was the one lady who requested that he move away from me for the picture, something about how the "rainbow umbrella" was "too much to have in the background".
I don't think she realized we were together!
Jamie, being the ham he is, simply smiled and moved to the side, while I privately giggled.
