    Outside of the hair styles, nothing looks different than today. Just goes to show the timelessness of the Kilt.

    Actually, there is a huge difference.

    29 years ago, people were on average slimmer than today's.

    Most people on these photos is slim or average built, as opposed to nowadays where most people are overweight.

    I like the way photographs of that time have aged. Certain colours become more vibrant and others get washed out. It really fixes a picture in time.

    It is also interesting to see what pictures were thought to be important at the time. Photography was never a 'cheap' pastime in those days, so every shot had to be a good one.

    Well, you didn't have a hamburger chain on every block back then. Everything served was home cooking, for better--and, yes, sometimes for worse.
