Perhaps there needs to be some set guidelines about who and what should be posted in response to a "For Sale" item.

It is reasonable to ask pertinent questions about an item or ask for pictures.

Writing "Gee I wish I could get that" (which I know I have done in the past) isn't helpful.

Writing a testimonial like "I have one of this items and really love it, at this price it is a bargain" seems helpful.

Maybe the Mod Squad should keep a closer eye on the "For Sale" forum and remove posts that aren't on topic to keep them relevant.

Also sellers should PM the Mods when the item is sold or no longer available so we can close the thread.

I'm just throwing out some ideas here.
