Simply put, what style of kilts do they wear? Is it box pleat or knife pleat, and are they 8 yard kilts? I would assume they use regimental weight (18oz) but maybe I am mistaken.
Anyone know? I am just think because maybe if ever I do get a BlackWatch, I'd get something similar to what they wear.

All the SCOTS battalions wear box pleat kilts, although prior to the formation of the RRS the Black Watch kilts were knife pleats,
