My Barb T wait was a bit shorter, albeit enough of a wait for me. In January my fabric was sent to her by ThistleDown who split a length of DW Maple Leaf with me for Barb to work her magic on. As previously posted here, after I recieved the kilt in July or so there was a bit of a skew problem with the tartan in the front apron. which Barb took back and has done some repairs. I just got word yesterday from Barb that it is now fixed and winging its way to me again for final reunion. May even be there when I get home today.
The time accumulating the savings is worth the effort, and will only make the enjoyment of the kilt that much greater when it arrives. Barb does beautiful work and is a real pleasure to work with. Good luck and enjoy the jones, then the kilt.
