So you have to wear Ghillie Brogues with a PC....
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

No, you don't have toTed. In fact, I suggest the only place for ghillie brogues, is the bin.

Just my taste here, but I do not care for kilt jackets without epaulettes. The style of epaulette, however, varies with the jacket. On Argyll or Braemer, they can be either cloth or braided cord. I prefer the cloth for the Crail. As I said above, it is just my taste.

BTW I also like shirts with epaulets if I am not wearing a jacket with my kilt. Perhaps it is my connexion with the military, or because I live in a military town.

    My dear Sir,
Ghillie brogues shall never see the inside of my dustbin..............for they will never be allowed to enter my premises far enough to reach the dustbin!

Steady on there, Jock. Some of us have spent our hard-earned on them and would like to get some use out of them - along with the white hose!
