    Deil the Y,

I have to argue with you a little about charcoal and navy- a navy blazer and charcoal flannel trousers makes a fine civilian uniform for millions. However, I much prefer your argyle hose with charcoal and red ( burgundy?) in the small pic.

That would be my strong recommendation: Argyles with charcoal and the predominant color in the kilt. Luckily, there are plenty of grey/charcoal argyles around

I have bought from this second seller and recommend his hose.
Some take the high road and some take the low road. Who's in the gutter? MacLowlife

Neither one of those pairs of socks looks suitable for wear with the kilt. The first pair certainly looks like it was made for a woman. The second pair looks way too short, and doesn't appear to have a cuff.

With proper British Blue Blood accent: Argue with me, Sir??? Hmph. We shall meet at dawn... My factor will call upon your factor...

I don't know what's gotten into me tonight... I'm feelin' silly.

Seriously, though (kind of)... It's really subjective, so you can argue all you want and you'll still be wrong (j/k). Actually I was thinking along the lines of what colours in fashion actually work with one self, by degree to boot I'm sure. I think it has a lot to do with one's skin tone, and eye and hair colour also probably play a small roll. (Actually that's all I got... the 'serious' aint workin' for me tonight...)
