State commissioner for the Clan Lamont Society of North America. There wasn't alot going on in recent years so a few of us got together and started to breath some life into our society. It's been a blast! Meeting great people all the time and I have formed some solid friendships along the way.

We have just formed the Clan MacLea (Livingstone) Association and I am on the Executive Committee. We've been working closely with our Clan Chief, Niall Livingstone of Bachuil, Baron of the Bachuil, Coarb of St Moluag, Abbot of Lismore, to ensure that it is set up the way he wants it. Part of the reason I haven't been as active on this board lately.
Oh yes, our own Kyle MacLea is the Commisioner for Clan MacLea (Livingstone).

Thanks for getting the word out, Greg! Yes, we're excited for what 2010 will have for our new Clan Society!
As for the ANZAC business, I believe this is just a nickname the Chief gave the Australia/New Zealand Society set up a couple of years ago. Officially, they don't use that designation. (But as Greg said, the Chief has used that terminology himself, but probably shouldn't have.)

Blimey Todd. When we were swapping that Cumming's and Bruce's banter a while back I didn't realise I was dicing with the big cheese. My hat is off to you Sir.

John, there are several members of XMarks that are "big cheese" with their clans. KMaclea is the Commisioner and I'm on the executive committee for Clan MacLea (Livingstone), Todd of course, Turpin, and there are several more. I just don't remember who all they are right now.

Yes and I have great respect for them too but I didn't exchange Bruce and Cumming debate with them. There is a very long standing, nay ancient feud exists between the Cummings and the Bruces.
I believe Todd and I have allowed the intervening 700 years of water to pass beneath our mutual Bridge since Robert the Bruce murdered John "the Red" Comyn in a church in Dumfries, and that although I descend down the Bruce line and he the Comyn, I think we have agreed that I am not personally responsible for that brutal and treacherous attack.
EDIT: Hello Todd. Happy Christmas mate!!

Aye, quite so. It's your turn to buy the next pint or dram, mate! int:
I'll just be careful not to go to church with you!

A fine example, for the unwary, of why the mixing of different clan tartans can unwittingly cause upset. Also, a fine example of gentlemen coming to terms, peaceably, with a clan feud.
