You know, it's not at all traditional, but I like it. I'm also a fan of 5 button waistcoats with a PC. To my eye it just looks better. (I've never been a fan of too much shirt showing.)
But I think this is one of those garments where we say 'To each his own.'

Maclowlife... your Red PC will be no match for the Regency inspired Kilt outfit I am working on.

Us McMurdos have a massive stash of dynomite, .50 caliber rifles and ammo, and other fun toys (as in it took 4 trucks several trips to remove it all from my late father-in-law's house and we're out of room in our 900 square foot basement) but if you dare...our house is the one with the concrete bench and 1000 yard range next to it.
