... I am kind of hoping to find something like that in a brown that will suit for daywear and not be quite so cookie-cutterish as what one usually sees on the market. (God, I love English and its inherent creativity--cutterish!) I would be interested in Jock Scot's thoughts on that.

I am with you on this one. This is a very similar design to one of the historical sporrans that I have my eye on. Definitely interested in one of these, and would love to see it in brown!

We did it in black and brown (mixed) so it could be worn with either color, but if you'd like a brown BODY (what is the black bag on mine), I'm sure we could do that as well as a custom one.

How wonderful to see that the sporran is developing again. Too long there were only cookie-cutter sporrans as Charles Thompson calls them in his book. This is good news for us.
