I think you did a splendid job on the bow tie! There's one thing you need to remember about bow ties; The ones who have a perfect knot, are the guys that wear pre-tied clip-ons! Some of the charm with bow-ties is that they are a wee bit shy of perfect! And of course, you can leave it untied around your neck at the end of the evening and in a very cool manner let all the clip-on guys know that you actually know how to tie your own bow-tie...

I could not agree more, I think you did a great job tying your bow tie, remember it's not suppose to be perfect. A devil may care attitude is one to foster when dealing with a bow tie.

Mine will certainly never be perfect, but my Dad's usually were almost so.
