Nice Kilt I must say, that I have yet to see a non traditional kilt here in Melbourne. I am sure though, that if you wear it to the pub when your out and about chasing the wee lassies then it won't take long till you catch some. just for some info we call the season you call Fall - Autumn

Good. Yes, Australian is a mash of english and american-english. I'm glad the traditional seasonal names have been kept on. I'm pleased I'm emigrating at this time of year as it gives me time to acclimatise somewhat. If I moved out straight into the Australian summer I imagine I'd very quickly melt to a puddle on the ground!

Autumn was used when I was a young lad. Sometime between the years 1959 and the early '60's, Fall seemed to take over the season. By the late '70's, one did not hear the word Autumn too often in our part of Northern California.
