    I take exception to the "extra-lame" comment. Your book has inspired so many to build their own kilt. For me made me aware of just how complicated a well built kilt is and gave me a deep appreciation of this particular garment and those will to undertake such a task. Extra-lame? I think not, it is the be-all and end-all of kilt making.

    And by "extra-lame", I actually did mean the website itself, which is pretty pathetic. My daughter has something quite wonderful in progress.

    And thanks to ccga3359 for rising to defense of my book - I am really touched!

    Actually, she has something much more swell in mind, although it certainly involves tartan!

    And, although she's a physicist and an Air Force lieutenant, she also, somewhat improbably, has a degree in computer graphic design......and she's a piper and a highland dancer.....am I a proud momma, or what?
