I am, indeed, wearing my Leatherneck for the very reason you cited. Just to make sure there is no confusion, I've got an Eagle, Globe and Anchor on my beltplate (same as the DIs wear, and which I received while on our base color guard), a USMC kilt pin I got from Alexis Malcolm, and my gold Marine Corps parachustists wings on my new Thorfinn sporran. I've also got on a Marine Corps regimental tie (strictly an unofficial pattern though).

Most people have either complimented me, or just taken a look. I'm used to it and expected no less.
