					Personally I don't care Hothir.
But let me explain the thought behind the Kiltmaker Map Pin. The idea was to give our new members the ability to look at the map for their area, and find a Kilt Shop. Or if a member was planning a trip somewhere, to find a Kilt Shop in the area they want to visit.

We would rely on members to post the location of their local kilt makers to help out other members.
 .
So, I added the Kiltmaker Map Pin for that reason.

But if you want to have a Kilt Maker Map Pin I'm not going to object. It really has nothing to do with being an advertiser on this site. It has more to do with one member helping out another with information.

I added myself but must have botched up the address, as it put the pin in the center of my zip code instead of my home address. Not really much of a problem, as I am sure anyone wanting to visit, would likely PM first and not just drop by. If they don't so other family will be completely surprised by kilted visitors, so be it.

I'm curious, in Canada my Postal Code is specific to the dozen or so houses in my cul-de-sac. How large of an area does a Zip code cover?

There is a 4 digit addition that can get down to within half a block or so, but few people bother with it.

Actually, in much (most?) of the country the Zip+4 will narrow it down to an individual postal customer. I use a post office box and you could address a letter to me using just my name and the Zip+4 and it would have no trouble getting to me. In smaller cities and towns the Zip+4 also can be attached to specific buildings.

I live in an apartment building, and I have noticed that everyone in my line has the same zip+4, so hardly individual. Even with that, mail frequently goes astray.
