    Thanks, everyone. I appreciate your comments! I think I will be making one for my uncle next, as he has expressed his interest at having a "handmade item from family".

    And Nighthawk, welcome to the craft! I agree that it is quite fun, and I hope to see some of your work some day! Have fun with it! I had bought a few tools a little at a time, and then I got a great deal at Tandy on the "Ultimate Leather Workshop" when it was on sale. It's pricey, but I would have spent more to get everything it included.

    Well, I didn't do this on my own, my friend helped me, but this was my first project (the sheath- not the knife. That, I did all on my own- except for the growing of the antler! I let a deer do that!)
