I am not noted as a computer buff, far from it, but I have just "googled" both and the correct info. came straight up.

I meant when I googled tweed, tweed fabric, tweed by the yard, etc... just wasn't coming up with anything decent. Re: the companies you mentioned, yes, they came up right away. Apologies. And I do use Google quite a bit before I post, in hopes I won't look like a total idiot.
EDIT: I'm sorry if I got a little hot under the collar. I hate it when people tell me to use Google... as if I didn't spend enough time on there already!
Matt, is there a way to purchase the fabric straight from Lochcarron and other mills? Also, if you wanted something a bit cheaper, say in the $20-30/yard range, what would you use? Is there a decent machine-woven tweed?
