    Waist Coat

Well, it is not exactly kilt kit, but it is extra tartan from my kilt and it is done myself, and I wanted to share it.

Beautiful! Do you have a pattern for that to share?

I second the call for a pattern! The neck is interesting; what inspired the tighter "V"?

I'm also curious to know what you did for the back of the waistcoat - is it tartan as well?

Put a kilt under it and a doublet over it and you're ready for the Tartan Ball! Very nice work. You should be very proud of it.

Hi, David – very nice indeed. It goes well with the shirt and trousers, but ought to go even better with the kilt.
And could we see what the back looks like?
    Regards,
