Off to the "Tilted Kilt" tonight in Orlando
And this is what i'm wearing:

My Heather Grey Mocker and a KUHL Polo Shirt... got my old school docs on too!

L.O.V.E. the monochrome look.
I also LOVE docs with a kilt. I know purists will poo-poo it as too 'Tartan Army', but I'd wear my docs over anything else (barring, of course, bare feet). So the kilt (most comfortable garment EVER) + docs = W.I.N.
BTW: do you have a close-up of your belt buckle? It looks really cool in the shot.

Sorry Artificer, I have to disagree that Docs are too "Tartan Army". I wear them sometimes when going in for a more relaxed style, say with a jumper (pullover) in winter or a polo shirt in summer. I think they are far more preferable to the sport shoe, runner look that seems ever present these days.
I would align them with the hiking boot look and with scrunched down socks, I think they look good. And this is from a person who prefers to dress in a traditional manner most of the time.
I think the OP looks great for a night out on the town

I occassionally wear hiking boots but am definitely NOT into the scrunched down socks look. If I have violated some huge rule, sorry I guess I will be cited.

Downunder, I think you read me wrong...
I LOVE docs. I was saying that sometimes the purists poo-poo boots and scrunched hose. Personally, I love them.
I've worn docs since my last pair of MIL-B-44152 gave up the ghost (and even before then, to tell the truth).
Docs and a kilt are like cheese & pickle or pies & mushy peas... a perfect match

Well Antonio wish i had read this sooner i would have had a blast throwing a kilt on and coming down to the twisted kilt this evening.... would have been a blast, good food and a fun atmosphere.

Got ya Artificer, as for the pie floaters, you can definately count me out on that one, why waist a perfectly good pie with peas and mushy ones at that.
Just a good dollop of "dead horse" and away you go.

Your kilt doesn't look tilted to me...

Obviously, he is hoping to get his kilt tilted before the evening is over!

I *almost* got my kilt tilted when I got home but it would appear as though I fell asleep... LOL Man! It sucks getting old!
Sandog, I drove over from Melbourne, but it was worth the drive. I'd love an excuse to go over there again, so let me know if you ever want to meet up there! Its a great place!
Here is the belt buckle I am wearing:

And this is where I bought the belt (I have two of them):
