    I met a flint knapper today. He had a blade that was exactly the right size that he had knapped from the tank cover from an old toilet! He wouldn't sell it, though, because he was not satisfied with it and had it out only as a demonstration piece. Guess what his project for me is going to be... The gods work in strange ways, no?

    Ishi, the Indian guy who lived at a museum etc, made an arrowhead out of the blue glass of a Milk of Magnesia bottle; I have a book about him.

    Of course the gods work in strange ways, Nighthawk, they would be boring otherwise.
