I can put my fat wallet, phone, keys, folding knife and sometimes a small camera in there, with no problems. I think they are about the best bang for your sporran buck out there.

Hummm interesting those measurements there. My day sporran is pretty much of the same dimentions and in another thread it was observed(nicely) that my sporran looked a tad small. I, at the time, said that I had never thought about it before and now that I have and armed with the above information I am even more sure that my sporran is not too small.

Well, I did those two measurments quickly with the sporran laying flat. I guess those numbers alone don't really give a good picture of how roomy the Kidder sporran is compared to the more "traditional'"designs I have. I'll say this, out of all the sporrans I use, they're the only ones I can stick both fists into!
I might take some photos later and start a new thread compairing them.
Oh, and about the Mini-kilt;

It's a question of scale. isn't it? What seems like a large sporran to a smaller man may seem small to a larger man. I have the Buzz Kidder in question myself and while the size of the sporran itself seems right, the opening of the pouch feels small to me (and I am by no means a "big guy"). Perhaps that's good as it helps to keep yer stuff in the bag but it feels a little tight now and then. We have had several of the members comment on the size of a sporran's opening in the past...probably because there's a difference between just slipping your hand into the opening and then trying to extract the closed hand with a wallet or cell phone in it...try it yourself.
A very quality sporran, though...
...and, yes...let's get on to the mini-kilts....been trying to talk Mrs. Argonian into one (and subsequently out of one) for a while now and a "see how good this looks" photo would certainly help the cause.
Best

Jock, I can tell you that your sporran is perrfect! Learning of the McRostie is one of the best tips I have gotten here on xmarks.
