Has it actually got pleats at the back Ron? you can hardly tell. That's a very well made kilt, clearly!

Aye, I really don't have the kilt on backwards. Kathy's craftsmanship is one of the reasons I own eleven of her hand sewn kilts. Another reason is she's always been able to find the tartan I want/need for my current kilt addiction.
For the new folks, her credentials are being trained at the Keith Kilt School in Scotland by Robert McBain Masterkiltmaker and having the Scottish Qualifications Authority standards TN0503701 for kiltmaking. All that aside she's a nice and lovely lady who sews a top quality kilt....where it looks like you have the kilt on backwards from the rear when pleated to the sett.
Dutch Friendship tartan is next when the cloth can be obtained.

Very nice indeed, I anxiously await the daylight shots so I can get a better view of the tartan.
Once again you have proven that tenacity and being willing to pay for quality is well worth the effort.
You, my friend, have a kilt to be proud of, wear it in health.
