New Hand Sewn Arizona Tartan Kilt

This has long been a dream of mine. My kiltmaker, Kathy Lare, finally cornered Dr. Phil Smith -designer of the tartan - and got permission for Dalgliesh Mills to weave up some. It arrived yesterday after less than three months waiting for the cloth to be special woven and Kathy sewing it up which for me is flat AMAZING! Was too dark to get pics yesterday after work and too dark again today so finally tried some flash pics indoors. Hope to get some outdoors on Sunday.

The kilt weight is 16 ounce wool. Kathy's kilt #1325. I am a very happy camper - a long time kilt dream come true. $565.00 USD delivered - including the special weave.

If the pleat shot is a bit wrinkled MacMillan's Son is in town for a visit and I sat on the kilt driving and at dinner.
