Well... OK... if you say so it must be so. However I don't think any offense should or would be taken by the addition of "Royal". And my recollection is that that's how they did it in the 'Sir Francis Drake' TV series, from which I learned all my courtly titles.

Alas, a TV show might have given you a guess that was close, but ultimately may have lead you astray...

The only variation that I can think of is "Her Brittanic Majesty" which appears on UK passports and is used in matters of diplomacy.
Other styles may sometimes be used in her other realms and territories but usually only to differentiate her from other monarchs.

Geez folks. If I remember correctly her Style and Title in the UK is Her Majesty The Queen. (HM) and in Canada she is styled Her Royal Majesty, (HRM) Queen of Canada. So potAtos potAHtos. Stop arguing for pity's sake!

Maybe you missed it, but I am Canadian. I'm sorry, but you've remembered incorrectly. She is styled, Her Majesty the Queen of Canada.
"His/Her 'Royal' Majesty" is a style that only some of her predecessors used. She has never used HRM in any realm, country or context, ever.
But, you know what, maybe you're right. I'll stop 'arguing' and the rest of you can carry on with your incorrect recollections and guesses. I quit.

Xena don't give up too soon. Here is a link from the Canadian Heritage website which clearly states HM. I'm sure it's more accurate than historical fiction half-hour TV show from the '60's.

Don't give up so easily Xena - you are correct.
I googled the style of referring to the Queen for Canada, Australia and New Zealand and nowhere is "Royal Majesty" used.
