Thanks , the pommel is the first I have done like that and after looking at it will not be the last. I think I am one to something with the woodgrain look. The sheath is made of poplar wood with a textured finish and weighs about the same as a leather sheath. Wore it in my hose today and could not tell it was there. It is made the same way as the Japanese sayas I use to make and is very durable.
