Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh I had a sundae consisting of malted ice cream and a lager based sauce.
When I lived in the area, the Firehouse Brewery in Rapid City, SD used to do what they called a "Stout Shake" which was made with unfermented wort and ice cream. On a 40C day, it was a good spine stiffener before the vicissitudes of the day.
