    Matt is not that far

Brother Newsome is only about 3-4 hours away and might travel for the day...Or your nephew might- when it gets hot, many people leave the coast for the NC mountains...

When Alice and I return to Charleston, I would HAPPILY drive up to the Scottish Tartans Museum for a day/weekend to get a kilt made. I don't even have one, but they are beautiful.

I would recommend the trip or a phone call. Better than taking a risk on an unknown supplier. Assuming there is even anyone in Hilton Head anyway.

At the risk of sounding like a know-it-all, let's make that more like 6 hours.

    350 miles, mostly interstate?

OK, maybe four and a half, because of the mountains.
