Apparently one of the rules is that you aren't allowed to let go of the opponent and must land on top when you take them down in order to win a point. That pretty much guarantees someone gets a kilted body slam!

Cumberland wrestling has only been contested once at any of the West Coast games that I can recall and that was a number of years ago.

Yeah...I thought it looked like fun. The lack of weight classes might remove a little of my enthusiasm. Or maybe just provide a good incentive not to get thrown! I'm solid, but only 165.
