here i am in my kilt (nightwatch tartan from still water) still not exactly sure what i will be wearing for a shirt but i will also most likely be wearing a back pack. and i will be looking to purchase a sporran and some other accessories while im there!
Might I suggest taking some time this week to put in a hem - the kilt is quite long and would look much, much sharper if you brought it up to your kneecaps.

Using a dark, matching thread, use a catch stitch for securing it, and when you get to the pleats, open them up, fold up the hem, and iron them down when done. The extra weight will also help the swing and lay of the kilt.

Supposed to be a warm one, so bring $$$ for some tasty beverages!

Can you recommend and good places to get this done? as I am not quite ready to tackle such a feat. I'm in Coos Bay, if that helps.
