In another thread I had said that I had wore my kilt to work. Well, that was a great experience and I'll definitely do it a lot more, but the best fun I had all day was stopping off at the store for the wife on the way home.

This was one of those Walmart supermarkets and it was kind of packed since the build up to Thanksgiving is coming. Everybody, and I mean everybody stopped what they were doing to look (about 90 percent of the customers were women). Nobody said anything but the sometimes the expression on their faces were priceless. As I went down one aisle there was one teenage girl with her mother. She came to a full stop and just stood there with her mouth hanging open. As I walked by I could see her out of the corner of my eye turn to keep looking.

Kilts in my corner of the world are definitely noticed. But so far, I haven't had any bad comments. Not one.

It was a little intimidating at first but as I got to working my way through the store, it was all I could do to keep from laughing. It was a hoot!
