Speaking of two straps, my SWK saffron in a 36 waist was too tight in the hip. I finally removed the hip strap and buckle, and it makes a huge differerence in the comfort and how it hangs. Both Barb T and Matt Newsome resommend no hip strap. i may just remove them from my other kilts.

Both straps were on the right hand side. Remove the hip strap? Bottom one on the right?

Hello and Remember that it's the thought that counts. With the way some of the guys on this board get treated about kilts by their SO's, I'm certain that Michael appreciates not only the gift itself, but the emotion and thought behind it!

bottom on the right. before you do, just wear it around the house unbuckled to see if you like the difference. It only take 5 or ten minutes to remove, depending on whether you need to open a seam and re-sew it. I had to with my SWK.
