Tartan: One personally designed for me
Weight: 16oz or 18oz
Yardage: 8-9 yard
Customization: Pleated to the sett, completely hand sewn, matching flashes
Why: Have always wanted a personal tartan designed for my family.

Tartan: ITI # 2437 (The unofficial USAF tartan)
Weight: 16 oz.
Yardage: 8
Customization: The tartan will have to be custom woven in 16 oz as it is only available in 11 oz. stock. I'd also want only 2 straps. Pleated to the red stripe.
Why: I served in the USAF and have always had a lot of pride in that. And, the tartan is absoultely gorgeous.

I think you can get that kilt through J Higgins. The USAFR Pipe Band get their kilts though there.

Tartan: Morrison modern
Weight: 13 or a little heavier
Yardage: 8yrds
Customization: pleat to stripe, buckles with studs and spikes, belt loops, knife pleats
Why: family tartan and ive been wanting it and will still be wanting it till i stop growing.

I think that is because all of the Chattan Clans have really nice tartans. I would be more than willing to wear any of those tartans. The Chattan tartan is in a lot of ways extra. I'm thinking about it as a Matt Newsome Box pleated kilt, but a full on military box pleated tank would be Awesome!
