Good for you. In today's world we are being conditioned to be pushovers, not to stand up for ourselves. Well, you did the right thing. I would keep an eye out, because I have a feeling you may have embarassed this coward, and he may try to up the ante a bit.

You did the right thing, he touched you when you didn't give permission. In my book that calls for some small action.

I was raised to have a similar attitude. "Always try to walk away from a fight. But if you can't, make sure he can't either."
Well done for not letting this guy think he runs the show. Do watch out for yourself though. Like others have said, cowards like this guy don't like to lose face. He might try to start some more nonsense.

I'm in agreement with Jay here. This time he brought a friend to back him up. I'd be very careful the next time.

I hope his friend thinks it's a skirt. Then he'll be telling all their mutual friends that your acoster was pushed down by a guy in a skirt... It will be that much more degrading.
Good for you

If you were in line at a pharmacy, you can be sure the incident was caught on camera at the time. What a stupid kid to pick a fight there!

Reason: sloppy typing
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.

Agreed with Jay and Jamie,
Next time there may be no warning and three instead of two.

Being a former Hooiser (20+yrs ago) I understand the type. MOST Hoosiers are super down to earth people but a few have blinders on to anything different. Kilts would be definately different in Indiana. I know people who have not gone 50 miles away from home... ever.

You responded appropriately. You stayed calm and in control, and you used just enough force to get the point across.
But I have to agree with the others... Watch out. That punk may come back with more friends, and there probably won't be any conversation or warning next time.
Good for you, good luck, and watch your back!
