Here is what you are looking for. Plan to get one myself. Not that I have anywhere to wear it. Just want one!

If you are in the Corps, why not get married in uniform?

You earned the sword, wear it proudly. Upon my discharge, I was presented an engraved K-Bar from my unit and we used it to cut the Grooms cake at our wedding. It's those personal touches in the ceremony and reception that will share many of the significant times in your and your Brides lives culminating in that day, with your invited guests.

Ooh-rah, Devil.
Once i thought about it for a bit, the idea of wearing any other sword just didn't fit. Even from a strictly historical stand point, an M1859 Saber carries plenty of weight in that department as well.

What sort of jacket are you wearing for the wedding. (I agree, incidentally, with wearing your service sword rather than a broadsword.)

Undecided right now. I'm still researching what total options I have, then we'll decide from there.

Just to offer some ideas for the fun of it, and of course depending on the level of formality...
I think an outfit something like the ones below would look nice and could allow for a baldric to be incorporated without the styles clashing. Granted a couple of these lads are wearing doublets but a couple are wearing tweed jackets. I personally like the pipers plaid look worn loosely across the chest for a "dressy-casual" look. I think it's a nice variation on the plaid being worn in the typical fashion.
