In apology to ozone for my digression I will present a "Kilt Don't" picture.
The Don'ts:
Kilt Length : This fellow's kilt is too short (a kilt really looks best no shorter than the top of the knee)
Fly Plaid : Fly plaids should be worn with a formal jacket and only at very formal occassions. This fellow has it pinned to his turtleneck shirt and it makes the outfit look like a costume.
Belt: The belt is too narrow to look good with a traditional style kilt. The western belt buckle this fellow is sporting does not work with a kilt at all.
Sporran The sporran this fellow is wearing is a semi-dress one. This type of sporran should be worn with a dress shirt and tie (at least).
Sporran Chain While the chain belt this fellow is wearing is appropriate for the semi-dress sporran, it is not correct with a day wear outfit. Sporran chains should only be used for formal occasions and even then used sparingly. The chain will create wear on a kilts front apron, in general a simple leather kilt belt matching one's kilt belt is a far better choice.
Hat : Why is this fellow wearing a hat indoors?
To this gentleman's credit he is toasting us with single malt whisky. I am sure given a little time and diligent perusal of our forum he may learn to fix these problems with his attire.

From the Estes Park games..... DON'T use a length of fabric that is emblazoned all over with your favorite sports teams logo as a great kilt with a radio stuck in your ear listening to the game.......and there were 2 of them
