    Darren, you have whetted my appetite for my forthcoming visit to California! However, I have been before - two years ago - and pretty much know what to expect. You, of course, have the advantage of being a piper, and possessing a talent to be much admired (whereas I have no such attributes and must rely solely on my stunning good looks!!!

    This time next week I will be in Palm Springs, lying beside a pool 'neath the Palms, with a Campari Soda in one hand and a bottle of sun oil in the other. Absolute Bliss!
