I'll admit that the first one I recognized immediately, however this second one is much more of a challenge.
I'll put in a guess with Stewart of Ardshiel. I'm not 100% certain of that.

I'm not sure what Lyon, himself, defines as azure, but heraldry, in general, defines "azure" as any shade of blue as determined by the herald painting the arms. Interesting, though, is the fact that heralds set apart from "azure" a specific shade of sky blue ("bleu celeste") which is a shade very similar to that woven as "azure" in tartan...

I'm not sure about the current Lyon but I recall asking the question of Sir Thomas Innes of Learney. His definition: Azure is the colour of the sky. Clear as mud then

Peter, so that I understand, the crotal dyed yarn in this tartan (rusty brown) = green in the threadcount?

Hmmm. That's typically the description given for bleu celeste...
I guess it would be easier if we could all just agree on pantone numbers for each color

Wonderful! That one was my best guess, even though what I was seeing in the STA database didn't seem to exactly match what I was seeing in your woven sample.
The "coral" as described in the STA's threadcount looks a definitive pink on the monitor, but in the picture of your woven sample those stripes (to me) look white.
Likewise what is clearly a blue in your woven sample (the darker blue, not the azure), looked flat-out black in the image in the STA database. It was not until I opened up the design ticket and had a look at the thread count that I saw the color was described as "midnight" (a very dark shade of blue).*
In any case, I guessed it had to be Stewart of Ardshiel because of the distinctiveness of the overall design. I'm glad I was correct!
*Just to show how things can look different on different monitors, on my desktop that "midnight" color looks black, whereas when I view the same tartan file on my laptop I can clearly tell it is a dark blue.

So kind of a grayish white, then? Today at least.

I would call that Carolina blue, but I'm just a little biased.
