Which length kilt you ask?
Well as you can see from the gallery of lasses legs, the only important thing to remember is to wear something under it.

I learned something else from this thread, wearing the give-away tee shirt is totally optional. I felt kind of bad when I didn't wear the tees (one I didn't get, the first one I didn't know you're supposed to). I like to cut the tees up into stylish girl-y wear before I wear it. It's hard to do that on the field.

It's good form to wear the giveaway t-shirt, cut up or not. It's often plastered with advertising, which supports the Games, so it's good to support the crew. However, if you want to "alter" it to something more "aesthetically pleasing" I think you can go right ahead!

I did on the last one. It worked ok, just tougher without a mirror.
I'm a graphic designer, I do tees, so I get a lot of samples that are good designs, but on a mans XL.
This has become my bible:

You'll be remembered for your strength, skill and accomplishments. Not for what you wore.

You look great in both kilts. Wear what you're most comfortable in and gives you the best range of motion.

Aight, I skimmed through this thread. And I hurried through the blog too. My wife might re-enter the room at any moment ;-)
OP, people who are worth knowing are going to make decisions about you based on what you do. That you are competing (in Highland Games or whatever else) at all speaks volumes. People who make decisions about you based on how you look are, well, ummm, err, not worth knowing really.
It's what I tell my daughters anyway.

Very true. Thanks, Pop! (Actually, I tell my own daughters that too - honestly, what am I like, panicking about such a stupid thing in the first place?!)
You should get your wife to read the blog too, then you wouldn't have to hurry! LOL

I'm a little late to the thread here, but I think both kilts looked great! You've got 2 options, so wear them to different games & see how they feel!
