    i am too deeply scarred from wearing plaid pants as a child in the mid 70's to ever wear trews. for a while early in elementary school, my mom dressed up my sisters and i in some awful polyester plaid pants and turtle necks. there are some old family photos lost in hurricane katrina that i do not miss.

    The look is okay in this opinion and the fringe makes 'em not just another pair of pants. Hoping for $175 knock-offs.
